Hi! Sorry if I sound kind of hostile in my rejection of dA, I just don't like it because

1. The interface seems messy to me- not very aesthetically pleasing or easy to navigate.
2. It's a closed community, so it's you can't use it to create an online portfolio that's easily available to the wider world, and also the general vibe of this website is... how to say... heirachical? I find it kind of... pretentious, personality-based stuff, rather than than just about appreciating and critiquing art and photography.
3. I also prefer that Flickr content is more exclusively photographic- while I like tradtional art and drawing on dA there's always a huge amount of tacky anime drawings and crappy sketches taking up my screen when I log on. Good for some, but not my style.
4. Flickr has a quicker load time on my computer.

That said, there are some lovely people on deviantART and I've had some good times. It's just time to move on .
